The touch, the sound, the desire to play.
An upright for learning and continuing to grow
An upright piano’s strings and soundboard are arranged vertically. It therefore generally takes up less depth than a grand, while offering the touch and resonance of an acoustic instrument. It is a choice to consider for lessons, regular practice or the pleasure of returning to the piano.
The right height cannot be chosen from specifications alone. Compare the bass, dynamics and keyboard response on several instruments. Our team helps you find a piano you enjoy playing, within your budget.
The Piano Expert approach
You choose the piano. We take care of what comes next.
We carefully select lightly played pianos and carry out inspection and regulation before sale. You buy an instrument that is ready to play, with a team you can turn to after the purchase.
What warranty comes with my piano?
All our Yamaha and Kawai pianos carry a 5-year Piano Expert warranty. Other brands have a 1-year warranty. Read the covered components and terms.
Are delivery and tuning included?
Delivery and one in-home tuning are included in the Quebec City and Lévis area, subject to applicable terms. We deliver throughout Quebec; for other regions and special access requirements, we confirm fees and arrangements with you before purchase. Read the terms.
How much space should I allow at home?
Check the width and depth of your chosen piano, then allow space for the bench, player and movement around it. We can confirm the instrument’s measurements and the access required for delivery. See our guide to making room for a piano.
Can I choose a piano remotely?
Yes. We can send photos and prepare a video to help you compare pianos. You can also book an appointment to try them at our showroom in Lévis. Let us discuss your selection.
