Planning a move around your piano and access
An upright and a grand piano require different preparation. Steps, narrow hallways, floors and elevators also affect the move. Describe both addresses and send photos of the piano and access points so we can assess your request.
How your request works
Send us the piano type, addresses, stairs and possible dates. We review the information and clarify any missing details. You then receive the moving conditions and we agree on an appointment. We usually group moves on Saturdays; provide your availability to help us plan.
What affects the moving price
Distance, piano type and dimensions, stairs and difficult access affect the cost. Moving a piano within the same home may also require special preparation. Your moving rate must therefore be confirmed based on the details of your request.
Before the team arrives
Clear the passageways and tell us about renovations, parking restrictions or building constraints. If an elevator needs to be booked, mention this when planning. Choose the piano's destination and let us know of any changes to access.
Difficult access and long distance moves
We offer local and long distance piano moving within Quebec. For unusual stairs, upper floors or a situation that may require a crane, send detailed photos before booking. Equipment and conditions are assessed for each project.
