From a compact grand to the C3
How much room for your next piano?
Length is a useful starting point for comparing sizes. Also allow space for the bench, the player and room to move around the instrument.
Yamaha GH1
≈ 160 cm
≈ 5 ft 3 in
The most compact of these three sizes: a starting point if you are looking for a baby grand.
Yamaha C2
≈ 173 cm
≈ 5 ft 8 in
An intermediate size to compare with the GH1 and C3, depending on the space available in your room.
Yamaha C3
≈ 186 cm
≈ 6 ft 1 in
The longest of the three. Take time to compare several C3 pianos: each instrument has its own touch and sound.
Indicative lengths depend on the model and generation. We will confirm the measurements of the instrument you choose.
