YAMAHA UX3

Origin: Japan

Dimensions: Height: 131 cm · Width: 154 cm · Depth: 65 cm

Details:

The Yamaha UX3 is a higher-end member of Yamaha’s full-size upright family. Its rich, bright tone, generous power and responsive touch make it a model appreciated by pianists and advanced students.

It differs from the U3 notably through its X-braced back structure and Tone Escape sound openings. Openings in the front panel allow sound to reach the pianist more directly, creating a more immediate presence at the keyboard. The X-shaped back posts add rigidity to the structure supporting the acoustic assembly.

The UX3 deserves a place on your shortlist if you enjoy Yamaha uprights and want generous tone with a more direct sound at the keyboard. Discover this instrument by appointment in Lévis.

Strengths:

A rich, bright sound with generous power.
Tone Escape openings for hearing the sound more directly at the keyboard.
X-shaped back posts: a distinctive UX design that increases structural rigidity.

An ideal piano for:

Pianists seeking a Yamaha upright with refinements beyond the standard models.
Advanced students seeking responsive touch and generous tone.
