Details: The UX model is an improved version of the Yamaha U3. All pianos in the UX series are equipped with top-quality materials. They are specially designed for professionals. Yamaha also uses better materials in the action components and soundboard construction.
Special feature: the vertical rear support in the back of the piano is X-shaped. This provides better support for string tension and more stable tuning . The sound is deeper and richer than normal pianos.
The bass strings are longer than on the U3 models, even though the pianos are the same height. High-quality wood and felt are used for hammers and dampers on all UX models.
